Achmed started interpreting the initial Major Arcana Celtic Cross spread on the 10/10/10 portal opening (10 + 10 + 10 = 30). This is the number of Solar Plexus gate 30, the Recognition of Feelings, in the terms of the original Human Design System. It is the day (10) of the new moon in the sign of Libra at 17º (10th month) in 2026 (2 + 2 + 6 = 10). The entire theme for this month, and today in particular, is to maintain and/or restore your balance and focusing on synergy by aiming to seek cooperation rather than indulging in conflict and separation. We have the wherewithal to do so no matter the fierce onslaught of the storms that are raging across the planet. They may be expressed physically and tangibly through severe solar storms, hurricanes like Rachel edging into the Verde Valley right now as a severe thunderstorm, or through 5 & 6 G bombardments with electromagnetic radiation. Regardless of the measurable external emissions and, metaphorically speaking, within the programmed battles between left and right brain, a critical mass of people does have gathered the power to settle their inner discrepancies and personal, tribal, and shared collective dysfunction. All current chaotic, foolhardy discordance within and without is being confirmed and underlined by this month’s tarot mapping. In sync with the definitions of my human design, I can’t avoid Pushing Upward (I Ching hexagram 46) with innate Determination into me relentlessly expressing the accumulated, unresolved detritus collected by humanity over countless years, if not many centuries. It has come into plain sight at this point in time. We all can recognize, assess, and own it for ourselves. The true history of human captivity can no longer be ignored other than by people who rigidly insist to turn a blind eye to the chaos unfolding prior to a major collective breakthrough. Ever since (the planet Pluto, more than a year ago) entered Aquarian gate 41, the rumbling of a veritable planetary paradigm shift has become increasingly louder. As one of the outer planets currently in retrograde motion, it is set to move direct on the 15th of this month. Nevertheless, its progression out of gate 41 will only come about on February 24th, 2028. I Ching hexagram 41 holds the energy of Decrease; it is the HD gate of Contraction in this system’s Root center opposite Solar Plexus gate 30, the gate of the Recognition of Feelings. The hexagram’s 2 trigrams are identical: the element of fire. Hexagram 30 expresses a double dose of passionate fire, Fire over Fire, as in Clinging Fire. When both gates are defined or activated in an individual chart or through other temporary transits, the channel between these 2 gates is flowing smoothly. This is the Channel of Recognition procuring a design of Focused Energy for all involved.

Both gates are located in the House of Aquarius , 41 within its first 7º, and 30 in this sign’s latter 7º. In the HD system’s so-called Rave mandala, Aquarius is located within its 2 Quarters or Realms. The first 15º are located in the Realm of Sirius, the Quarter of Mutation; here its purpose is the grounded earthy engagement in the process of transformation, transmutation, and transfiguration. The mystical theme here is the seeker’s acceptance of dying to anything that has become old, wary, and therefore redundant. Around the halfway point, at 15º of its trajectory, enters a brand-new focus in the Realm of Alcyone, one of the 7 stars in the Pleiades system. It is the so-called Quarter of Initiation where gate 30 abides. Here one’s purpose is fulfilled through the capacity of the mind’s centering within the Wheel of Samsara, i.e. the Wheel of Fortune (major arcanum 10), to envision and unveil the Mystery of Initiation. This quarter’s theme is enlivened through the “Return of the Witness.” The ruling planet of Aquarius is Uranus, the “mold breaker” potentiating a sudden radical, likely shocking paradigm shift. For example, in my personal HD birth chart, my unconscious is placed in line 2 of gate 30, through which my body innately projects a stance of Pragmatism. My personality (conscious) is in gate 43, Breakthrough, being the role model of it through line 6. In short, it gives me a 6/2 personality profile that is recognized as being and behaving as a role model of the Hermit archetype.

To warrant my objectivity in functioning as an impersonal observer and interpreter of this mapping in particular; this monthly forecast is focused on the resonant and potentially dissonant energy flows on the entire planetary tonal playing field. Hence, my starting point was quite different from the regular reading I would conduct for a private client. I decided to choose 2 picture cards from 2 different tarot decks. I envisioned them to serve well as an anchor on which to place the first random major arcanum card that would come up after my usual ritual of shuffling the traditional Marseilles Tarot deck’s 24 major arcana. Within the centuries old format I apply, i.e. the Celtic Cross, the first card serves as the so-called querent representing the client.

The 2 of wands (fire) and The Hermit (Major arcanum 9) covering the wands

As you gaze at the image of the entire first spread in the traditional Celtic Cross format at the top of this document consisting only of Major Arcanum cards, we first focus only on the two cards at the center crossing each other before we expand our view to encompass the full expanded cross formation. You see the Empress, Arcanum 3, covering the two querant cards above: the top one shows a lonesome individual, the hermit arcanum 9, lighting the way through the unfolding mapping, covering the two of wands showing a ruler holding one of two fiery rods with his left hand and holding the earth globe in his other hand. He is gazing far into the infinite horizon across a calm, vast ocean whilst standing firmly grounded on top of a cliff. The Empress is covering these two cards represents and symbolizes the fertile earth the ruler is presenting to her. She is the true sovereign ruling over it, gentle yet powerful as the divine feminine, Tara (Terra) or Gaia, her sublimated form and expression of the globe. She remains forever calm, contained, and unencumbered by whatever crosses her path on the horizontal plane in the here and now. You notice that it is the Chariot, major arcanum 7, that is crossing her plane of vision. In the chariot, drawn by two horses pulling in opposite directions, the charioteer is a mundane ruler of the realm of rigid Capricorn, the last earth in the realm of Sirius. Maybe he represents a king, president, or at least someone who pretends to oversee the territory in which he travels. However, as you can see, this authority figure is not holding any reins to lead the horses, his basic survival instincts, but rather at the mercy of them in order to exude and exalt his worldly power, blindly trusting that his urges translate into him being driven into the right direction to maintain his wealth and mundane power. Gaia, holding the real authentic power over the earthly realm, is simply gazing at the arrogant authority claiming passenger, while peacefully seated upright on her righteous throne, maintaining a very neutral and pragmatic vertical position between heaven and earth fulfilling her universally sanctioned mandate. Her gaze meets his through the two columns upholding the right side of the chariot’s canopy, mirroring the fiery rods and gaze pictured in the 2 of wands peeking out above her card holding the space at the back of Major Arcanum 3. Centered in the imaginative right brain, she simply observes the reinless ruler riding into view on the mundane playing field, actually moving into the direction of what already has passed rather than facing the future he merrily ignores. In terms of signifying numbers, their meeting at the crossroads adds up to 10. The HD system names gate 10 the Behavior of the Self, located in the Magnetic Monopole or G-center. It is one of 4 gates of the Vessel of Universal or Unconditional Love. The 2nd line in the hexagram of Treading is the line of the Hermit. Major arcanum 10 is the Wheel of Fortune I referred to earlier as the much older the Wheel of Samsara of Hindu lore, where the only true fortune is to be found in the still point at the center or axle of the wheel: the Axis Mundi abiding in a state of zero-point energy. The genuinely wise person, symbolized by The Hermit (in juxtaposition to major arcanum 5, The Pope or Hierophant) is keenly aware of these universal facts of life. The world sees this archetype as nothing more than the “Fool on the hill” standing high and dry on the top of the cliff or sitting still in his mountain cave gazing as unencumbered as the Empress across the deep Great Ocean of Collective Consciousness between the two wands of spiritual power that are flanking him. The combined numbers of the cross of the present here and now during this month of October add up to 11 (9 +2) in the background designating the Ajna center’s gate of Ideas the I Ching signifies as Peace. In combination with the visible center of the cross conveying the number 10 (3 + 7) the center of the wheel is holding number 21, the major arcanum of The World, or the HD gate of the Hunter/Huntress in the Heart or Ego center. This gate pertains to the territory of the Queens, or surreptitiously, the Kings of this world. Hexagram 21 in the I Ching names it as the energy or action of Biting Through.

Thus, this October’s energy is depicted here very succinctly as being a worldwide melee of Self-opposing figure heads and self-proclaimed authorities, shadowy characters and pawns on the chess board who act out their roles in an ego-driven mode of ferocious territorialism on the one hand, and on the other hand a more enlightened drive to seek and establish Peace, first of all within the realm of and guidance by a Self-aware seeker’s unique Higher Self. The human collective’s conscious aim depicted by the card above the Empress and the Chariot is major arcanum 6, the Lover. He is every man and woman guided by Spirit (the little arrow pointing cupid) to move forward in the right direction responding to the offer that is being pointed out as a gift of light bearing valor and prerogatives of Tara/Gaia. Although the heart space of the lover depicted in the card is obviously drawn to the splendor of the gift guiding his way into the future, he is pulled back by the shadowy standards of the outlived ugly and redundant programs and motivations that still hold captive his mundane attention away from what he feels and yearns for in his soul. This crowning placement in the Celtic Cross symbolizes the Lover’s conscious aim and longing. It indicates the longing for Breakthrough, gate 43 (4 +3 = 7) out of the darkness into a more lighthearted future that is being offered to the rudderless masses haplessly waiting for some savior of flesh and bones to pull them out of their dire straits. In their neediness of exterior authorities, they feel disempowered as they do not hold the reins, or rather, lack the Self-discipline to move their body-mind carriage towards the kind of personal destiny they had imagined, envisioned, dreamt of, and even legalistically contracted out for themselves. The Lover of the dark and dreary aspects of his life calculates that he is stuck on the checkerboard. On it, only a precious few elite gamers are the designated winners and a majority of the players are designated losers. They are prone to figure the odds in the game to be number 16, the major arcanum of The Tower of Destruction. He sees a version this major arcanum card depicting collapse and calamity further afield in one of the cards or outside influences circumnavigating the sacred space of the Celtic Cross. He is convinced of lacking the necessary Skills or even the Enthusiasm to liberate himself from the yoke of the system that is holding everyone hostage in game against their will being pushed back to start over and over again without surcease. Indeed, the Tower of Destruction symbolizes the ultimate breakdown of an old artificially contrived construct. The I Ching’s hexagram 16 looks at bright side of the Spirit’s cupid proposition by naming It Enthusiasm, it is the HD Throat center gate of skills that can manifest the bright appearance of Tara elevated to the stature and higher frequency of Gaia. In spite of the dilemma of having to choose resolutely for the universal gift of Enlightenment, rather than clinging to the burnt out passions of the past, the Lover keeps longing for genuine Caring and Nourishment for him-Self and his family and friends through HD tribal gate 27 (21 + 6) in the Sacral center through which the sacred vital life force flows relentlessly without losing a beat.

The foundation of the cross is below the position of the Empress: the card that occupies this place in the cross symbolizes the human collective’s unconscious aim in the here and now of participating in the World game. At its conception, included in every traditional Marseilles deck were two blank cards that could not be named or depicted in a European world that was being terrorized by the catholic church’s Inquisition. The inherent power of the major arcana cards was deemed sacred and, to a large extent, held as a secret. The church authorities would have the true depiction of these anonymous cards a representation of pagan religion, a heretical act to be punished by torture and death. During the 1970s, the true identity of these two cards was unveiled. Major arcanum 22, Jupiter, recognized in astrology as the great beneficent expands his influence without any limitation. HD gate 22 in the Solar Plexus center is defined as Openness, whilst the I Ching characterizes it as Grace. The other blank card was unveiled as the final major arcanum 23, Juno. This pagan goddess is the equivalent of the Gaia archetype, or Sophia, the moniker of Wisdom in esoteric versions of Christianity. The 23rd hexagram in the I Ching defines its energy as Splitting Apart; in HD it is another Throat or manifestation gate keynoted as the gate of Assimilation opposite Ajna gate 43.

When these two gates energetically connect within an individual, they form the channel of Structuring giving him or her a design of Individuality. Behold in this mapping the unconscious foundation of this cross is the embodiment of Wisdom. It is a quality that in Toltec shamanism is characterized by a mode of not-doing or keeping still, so, that wisdom filled actions can be unfolding unimpeded by selfish ego agendas satiated with an overriding sense of self-importance. Wisdom is gathered through six different stages or lines structuring hexagram 23 from shadow to light. They are Proselytization, Self-defense, Individuality, Fragmentation, Assimilation, and ultimately Fusion. During this month, the human collective is being offered a unique opportunity to become aware of and opt for their active participation in what C.J. Jung coined the “process of individuation.” It is aimed at liberation to gain a state of embodied sovereignty. When the human collective raises its sights and brings its innate Caring onto a level of conscious endeavor, we will connect with each other in the Cauldron of I Ching hexagram 50 (27 + 23). It is the gate of Values which are comprised of the energies of the Immigrant, Determination, Adaptability, alleviating systemic Corruption, Consistency, in order to be able to recognize true authentic Leadership, rather than (50 = 5) Waiting for the decrees of major arcanum 5, The Pope taking charge of the material, physical, mental, let alone spiritual well-being of the human collective. This mapping is pointing out that that day will never come.

On the horizontal plane or mundane playing field on the left of the Empress, we see that collectively, within the last three months or so, a critical mass of people have gathered the I Ching hexagram 11 definition of Peace and the major arcanum 11, Inner Strength and Power that operate through infinite, never ending cycles start and return. On the right of the Empress, depicting the dynamics within the next three months or so, once again, she comes face to face again with the Hermit shedding a light on the path ahead, this time out in the open rather than hidden behind her back. Emboldened by the personal discipline and gentleness gathered over the last three months, new, alternative Ideas have been sprouting by learning to keep base instincts at bay. Now the Hermit archetype has emerged out in the open and proceeds to shed light not only on a future path but more significantly on the ails of the past: old matters of systemic dysfunction and to Work on what has been Spoilt, hexagram 18 (2 hermits seeing eye to eye at the same level of equality in the Sacral gate of Focus (9 + 9) as much as coarse Correct, gate 18. The I Ching refers to this this Focus as The Taming Power of the Small. Numerically, the major arcana of Power and the Hermit come together in Throat center gate 20 (11 + 9), the Now, in what the I Ching calls a state of Contemplation in which true universal Judgment, major arcanum 20 can be brought to bear on the process of deep Self-searching and genuine Care. This dynamic may well initiate an as-yet unknown state of planetary harmonic resonance, at least in terms of Gaia focused Contemplation in the short term as there will be no other way out of the current global state of chaos.

At this point, let me recapitulate the numerological values of the center Celtic Cross lay-out of this spread before pushing upward into the mundane application of its energies in the lineup of the next four cards towards a potential tangible outcome: 27 + 23 + 11 = 61, the Mysterious gate of unveiling Inner Truth by way of the Maya Mechanics of the original Human Design System. This process signifies the Hermit’s fulfilment of purpose in the foreseeable future: 61 + 9 = 70 = 7. It points to every individual’s capacity as a proverbial Fool harboring an innocent inner child (0) to take up the task of playing not so much the role of charioteer, but, moreover to relax and sit back as the passenger in the Chariot, trump card 7, and simply enjoy the ride into an as-yet totally uncharted territory surrendering the need to pull the reins and stay in control of a trajectory that lies beyond your all too human need for control by claiming to be the driver of that vehicle. What is needed Now is your enlivenment of personal trust and determination, that it can be done, even in short order.

Let’s proceed and move into and up the right hand column of 4 major arcana. The first one at the bottom is energetically aligned with Juno, arcanum 23 on the unconscious left side of this position. This card signifies the conscious realization of what is held by Juno: the unconscious hidden presence of Wisdom in you and by extension the entire collective unconscious surfacing into the light of day for everyone to recognize and own as the starting point to Push Upward and climb out of the collective predicament of being held in bondage. This state of global affairs is illustrated by major arcanum 15, The Devil (1 + 5 = 6 the captive/captivated/mesmerized Lover). (D)evil read backwards is Live(d). In other words, Juno holds the wisdom in the dark recesses of the collective mind that it is this reversal of live or living matter in the past by evil or dark devilish mental repatterning and conditioning that has been culpable in Splitting Apart, separating people in fear-based self-defense modes of behavior resulting in the total Fragmentation of the tonal playing field into a square-headed checkerboard arena of Self-destructive wargames inspired by outlived power games and grabs sprouted in the compartmentalization of the human bicameral brain. The Cauldron of erstwhile human values has been perverted into a suppository of addictive behaviors and death promoting products to which masses of people around the world have become terminally bonded and deprived of light, care, life enhancing nourishment, freedom, liberty, and an unadorned state of individual sovereignty. The foundational task at hand for all of humankind is to see it for what it is whilst it be brought out in the light of day in no uncertain terms and crudest unapologetic ways imaginable that defies the credulity of most decent heart-centered human beings. However, once the blinders have fallen off as to who or what really has ruled and enslaved all of humanity, its playing field degraded into a battlefield harboring death and annihilation, we collectively can clear the layers upon layers of debris and start the co-creation of a new earth paradigm in pragmatic terms rooted in sober objective assessment of what truly is of value to all of humankind and Terra her-Self.

The next position on the horizontal level of the Hermit, the Empress, the Chariot, and Inner Strength is major arcanum 19, the Sun imbuing the new arena of unshackled human operation with cosmic rays of vital life force. This is in contradistinction to the cold light of the Moon card, major arcanum 18. It is lingering on the periphery of map trying to influence the new earth playing field in an effort to maintain the redundant lunacy of false light engagements on this day of the opening of the cosmic 10:10:10 portal and the auspicious new moon. Nevertheless,

this exterior placement of major arcanum 18 right adjacent to major arcanum 19 adds up to 37, the tribal Solar Plexus gate of Friendship. Hexagram 37, the I Ching refers to as The Family espousing authentically warranted and universally recognized and enlivened family values. Within the horizontal framework of the mapping the arcana combines into 30, Clinging Fire, in the format of the central cross’s horizontal arm reaching out to the Sun,19, enlivening the newly cleared tonal playing field, generate hexagram 49, Revolution. It is the tribal defense gate of the Rejection of the old and redundant fear-based defense mechanisms that have no place or validity in the new earth playground.

In this paradigm shifting dynamic, the 3rd major arcanum position is the space harboring the human collective’s hopes, dreams, and possibly lingering fears vis-à-vis the potential outcome of this deep process of conscious and conscientious awakening. Here we see the placement of Jupiter, who expands everything his energy touches a thousandfold or more. It is an amoral forcefield that can and will expand progressive and regressive dynamics with equal zest pointing to the crucial necessity of being meticulously careful about the quality and aims of humans hopes, dreams, and, particularly, fears. Amoral is parsed out as amor (love) al (all) unconditionally and in equal measure. HD gate 22 is keynoted as an individual Openness to receiving the 22nd hexagram’s Grace in the Emotional Center or Solar Plexus, hence, it pertains to a Spirit induced dispensation of Grace. Honoring one’s hopes, dreams, and even remnants of fear with Graciousness is a precious gift to the human collective and the living planet as a whole; it is a beneficent factor of holistic healing practices. This placement is in horizontal resonance to the collective’s conscious aims formatted in the Celtic Cross, that is major arcanum 6, The Lover. It also is causing Friction in Emotional center gate 6. Hexagram 6 holds the energy of Conflict , specifically tribal conflict according to the Maya Mechanics operating the Human Design System. (6 + 22 =28) generating what the I Ching calls Preponderance of the Great; it is the gate of the Game Player operating in the shadow of Shaking hands with the Devil or going out in a Blaze of Glory.

Within the preparatory framework pondering this initiatory mapping so far, we have finally arrived beyond the vertical reach of the Celtic Cross and are ready to cross into the field of potential outcomes with the placement of the 10th major arcanum which is number 12, The Hanged Man. The number points to having reached the end of a cycle and a state of suspension before the final blow and a rebirth within the frame of a new cycle of growth. In this mode of just hanging in there before the Breakthrough into the new earth paradigm the Hanged Man has not been condemned to death as he is not hanging by his neck and, ironically the noose is not even strapped around his ankle. For him his whole world ha thought he knew has just been turn upside down. His perceptions in his suspended position are thrown in reversal mode and there is nothing else he can do but acquiesce to this state of affairs. However, the top of his head is almost grounded and, like antennae his hair is making new connections with the earth’s fertile soil. One could almost see his hair as rooting in the ground. Through this organic connection he is enabled to trace back his roots of origin as a sentient being on this plane of existence and, thereby, realign himself mentally with his initial hopes and dreams for navigating Terra firma as a human being. His spirit guided soul being prepared by Gaia to play the unique, one-of-kind charioteer role in his newly conceived body-mind vessel. Indeed, all he can do for now is to patiently wait to be birthed headfirst in the renewed earth arena of human endeavor. Throat center gate 12, is the gate of Caution as he hangs out in quite a precarious situation. The commensurate I Ching hexagram is defined as Standstill. The astrological analogy that can be helpful to consider is the crucial pause of one of the slow-moving outer planets before the detectable movement into direct motion. During this month, the electrical influence on our entire planet and, thus, the human collective, Pluto, the outer planet farthest from the Sun, known as the planet of Transformation, has moved in retrograde motion in gate 41, Contraction, since the beginning of May. It is an extremely slow-moving planet completing one orbit around the Sun in the span of about 248 years. Thus, since the beginning of the month, Pluto has appeared to ‘hang’ stationary in line 2, the line of Caution in the 41st hexagram of Decrease before it reverses into direct motion around 3º of on October 15th.

Let’s now review the numerological values in this vertical line up of the last major arcana: The Devil (15), The Sun (19), Jupiter (22), and The Hanged Man (12). Both the lower two and the upper two add up to the number 34 for each couple. Hexagram 34 generates The Power of the Great and 34 is the gate of Might sprouting from the Sacral center, dispersing a continuous flow of sacral vital life force. Each couple reduces to 7, The Chariot moving on a journey into the as-yet unknown. Hexagram 7 is named The Amy which is the gate of The Role of the(Higher) Self. It comprises six typical roles in a hierarchically structured system such as an army or any other governmental department: 1. the Authoritarian, 2. the Democrat, 3. the Anarchist, 4. the Abdicator, 5. The General, 6. The Administrator, all rooted in focusing on collective understanding based on logic. Together, this set of four major arcana generates the 14th major arcanum, Temperance and the sacral gate of Power Skills, the I Ching refers to as the hexagram of Possession in Great Measure. And with this recapitulation paragraph we have completed the first layout in this 3=pronged Tarot mapping. In the second spread we are utilizing the full 80-card Marseilles deck combining the major and minor arcana cards to gaze into the potential of the Hanged Man in terms of the origins and potential manifestation of his hopes, dreams, visions, and fears in more mundane aspects and details.
