As a proverbial “elder of the tribe,” Achmed draws on six decades of study, practice, and development of his unique skills, resulting in his artful Tarot Mapping method. His approach is rooted in the symbology, specific coloration, and archetypal significance of traditional Marseilles card designs.
The Initial Spread

The session’s first spread consists exclusively of the Major Arcanum cards. Achmed interprets these as broad strokes of archetypal dynamic flow: the past three months, the here and now, and potential outcomes within the next three months. You can assess for yourself whether his interpretation feels correct and resonates with your perceived reality.
The Second Spread
Full deck layout – combined Major & Minor Arcana
After reshuffling and adding the Minor Arcanum cards, Achmed configures the full deck in a Celtic Cross pattern, with an additional bottom line of four cards representing an undercurrent of subconscious influences. The Minor Arcana comprise Wands, Chalices, Swords, and Pentacles, representing Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, and corresponding to Spirit, Emotions, Mind, and Matter, respectively. Achmed uses this spread to explore possible dynamics over the next nine months.
To recapitulate the reading and accommodate further questions or clarifications, you are invited to choose from 12 optional decks with designs different from the Marseille deck. Choose the deck you resonate with most to overlay the map laid out so far and explore your questions more deeply.
